My Story
Well, hello there!
My Scentsy story is pretty simple. I'm a stay at home mom to two kiddos with a husband whose commute makes the day much longer. Being part of the elementary school Booster Club, working in my daughter's classroom, and being a troop leader to a large Girl Scout troop has been my only means to converse with grown-ups for quite some time now and that only began in the last two years. I know how privileged I am to be able to stay home with my kids and be as involved as I am in school and activities. Yet it didn't feel like I was accomplishing anything for myself.
A friend started selling Scentsy and I jumped right in supporting her. I was tired of buying those name brand candles at that name brand store that didn't last long and cost globs of money even with sales and coupons. Throw in having two kids and pets that are all curious about what's in the candle jar and you can see how easy it would be to invest in a flame free solution. It wasn't just astounding that there are more than 5 basic scents.. it was astounding that I actually like them and the wax lasted so long! I was hooked.
Almost a year later I finally booked a party through her. Right then and there I made the jump. I used my hostess rewards to sign up with the host exclusive kit. I figured I would stay active by supplying myself and get a discount while I was at it. It didn't work out that way.
The second I logged onto our workstation I knew I had underestimated the Scentsy world. This has been the most uplifting, confidence boosting, friendly, inviting, and caring company that I have ever worked for. Not only do the owners (who are hilarious and down to earth) care about how we're doing in the company but they've gone above and beyond to make sure we're doing well physically and mentally. This isn't something I ever expected to find from a direct sales company. I have found an inner peace. I have found a feeling of accomplishment and confidence that I've been lacking for many years. I'm more than happy to call this place home and hope I can be just as uplifting and helpful to you as they have been to me.
